POSITION SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS (PSR):
1.Translate and establish RFx (quote / proposal) package.
2.Responsible to coordinate and manage Asia equipment request for quotes and projects.
3.Conduct supplier evaluation (technical / quality) and develop strong project management structure at supplier.
4.Conduct report (as needed) including evidence (i.e. photos) and provide project tracking files.
5.Manage equipment engineering changes.
6.Ensure specifications including safety requirements are understood and fully met.
7.Coordinate equipment trials managing equipment builder, tool shop, raw materials, packaging and logistics.
8.Support inspections, packaging, labeling and arrange shipment/customs process.
9.Manage milestones, payment requirements and pre-acceptance. Organize onsite and online reviews with responsible teams.
10.Verify all documentation (i.e., drawings, data, manuals, quality reports) and ensure successful handover to end location and engineering manager.
11.Support equipment shipments.
12.Facilitate and support installation and start up if needed.
13.Enable warranty and service conditions between equipment builder and local service partner.
14.Other activities as assigned by Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
1.Engineering Degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
2.Required 5 years experience in preferably automotive as a tool engineer or tool maker and familiar with tool manufacturing process.
3.Fluent English.
4.Project Management.
5.Technical understanding of Automotive tool design, tool build, and part production process.
6.Knowledge of European and North American safety standards.
7.Strong communication skills with cross functional teams.
